Hey, I’m Sam Belkhyat—founder of The Rebel Café. I’m a Product Architect, Strategist, Technologist, and Digital Solutions Manager. Maybe we crossed paths on Clubhouse. Maybe you downloaded one of my apps like Jersey Vegan or Barrs. Maybe you came across my VR startup story in Lifewire. Or maybe you just Googled “Web Designer” in Newark and I popped up. However you found your way here, I’m glad you did.
The Rebel Café was built around a simple idea: that brands with real stories deserve to be heard. We’re not here for templates or shortcuts—we’re here to help unconventional, community-driven brands cut through the noise with strategy and storytelling that actually makes people care.
My own path started in Brooklyn, launching my first web development company with one goal: bring good ideas to life. That drive took me to Manhattan, where I sharpened my skills as a Senior Interactive Designer at a top agency, learning what it really takes to build brands that last. From there, I built my own digital agency, moved into spatial computing, and founded PolarformXR—building platforms like ManaXR and Vnntr. Along the way, I launched AI-powered apps like Chefff, Barrs, and Jersey Vegan, earning top rankings on Product Hunt.
I’ve worked with names like Guess Jeans and Coachella and was named the #1 Web Developer in Newark. But for me, it’s never been about awards—it’s about doing work that cuts through, work that sticks. Today, I lead digital solutions at a major culinary company by day, and build The Rebel Café by night—helping entrepreneurs, creatives, and founders simplify their tech, sharpen their messaging, and build brands that carry real weight.
Outside of work, I’m a native New Yorker, a brother, a boyfriend, and someone who never lost his love for video games, arcades, soccer, and travel. I’m into tech, AI, culture, food—and yes, chai tea, motorcycles, and the occasional all-black outfit.
(Also, Barack Obama follows me on Twitter. Just saying.)
